Can I print these leaflets?

Yes. Every leaflet has a "Print this leaflet" button, and prints cleanly on A4 without the website menus.

Are these leaflets a substitute for seeing a doctor?

No. They explain common problems, tests and treatments so you know what to expect. Always follow the advice of the doctor who examines you.

When is an eye problem an emergency?

Sudden loss of vision, a chemical in the eye, an injury with a cut or something stuck in the eye, severe pain with redness and haloes, or a curtain or shadow over the vision. Go to an eye doctor the same day.
