Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often from patients, for both our eye and dental departments.

You can call us directly at +91 701-691-2180, message us on WhatsApp, or visit us in person at our Motera clinic. We recommend calling ahead to confirm a convenient slot, especially for a specific doctor.
We're open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the morning and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening. We're closed on Sundays.
Yes — Sadbhaav is a combined eye and dental clinic. Dr. Dhaval Patel (MD, Ophthalmology, AIIMS New Delhi) handles eye care, and Dr. Dhara Patel (MDS, Endodontics) handles dental care, both from the same Motera location.
A typical visit includes reception check-in, an initial workup with our optometrist, followed by Dr. Dhaval Patel's examination. Depending on your symptoms, further investigations like OCT, laser imaging, or perimetry may be recommended, followed by a treatment plan and any necessary medicines. See our full visit journey for more detail.
Similarly, a dental visit starts with reception check-in, an initial dentist check-up, then Dr. Dhara Patel's examination. If needed, a scan of the mouth is done before finalising a treatment plan and any medicines required.
Yes, both our eye and dental departments see children regularly. Read more about pediatric eye checkups or pediatric dentistry at Sadbhaav.
No referral is needed — you can call, message, or walk in directly. We're also happy to give a second opinion on a diagnosis or treatment plan from elsewhere.
Modern phacoemulsification cataract surgery typically takes only a matter of minutes per eye and is usually done as a same-day procedure — most patients go home the same day, with clear post-operative care instructions. Read more about cataract surgery at Sadbhaav.
Most root canals are completed in one to two visits under local anaesthesia, and are performed to relieve pain, not cause it. Read more about root canal treatment at Sadbhaav.
Yes — for eye injuries, chemical splashes, or sudden vision changes, call us immediately at +91 701-691-2180 (marked Emergency in our contact details). Read our eye injury & emergency guidance for immediate first-aid steps like chemical flushing.
We offer cashless treatment for eye care through several empanelled insurance providers, including SBI General, TATA AIG, Care Health Insurance, and more, plus TPAs Mediassist and Paramount. Dental treatment currently isn't covered by cashless or reimbursement mediclaim in India generally, so this applies to eye care specifically. See our full cashless facilities page for the complete list and an honest cashless vs. reimbursement comparison, or call us at +91 701-691-2180 to confirm your specific policy's eligibility.
We're at SF 5-6, Second Floor, Palladium Business Hub, Opposite PVR Cinema, Above Pantaloons, Visat-Gandhinagar Highway, Motera, Ahmedabad - 382424, serving Motera, Sabarmati, Chandkheda, and Gandhinagar. Get directions on Google Maps.
